While You Are Here We’re excited to share the state we love with the people we love. If you have a little extra time while you’re here, Oregon has so much to explore.
McMinnville Area
Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum
Home to the Spruce Goose and an impressive collection of aircraft and space exhibits.
Evergreen Wings & Wave Waterpark
An indoor waterpark with slides coming out of a Boeing 747. And fun fact: Lifeguarding here was Erin’s very first job.
Explore Wineries
McMinnville is surrounded by incredible wineries and tasting rooms. See our Wine Tasting Recommendations below for a few favorites.

Portland Japanese Garden
Tucked into Washington Park, this peaceful oasis offers trickling waterfalls, a teahouse, and eight gardens showcasing different styles of Japanese gardening.
Oregon Zoo
The Oregon Zoo has great exhibits, especially the elephants, big cats, and primates, and does a really good job highlighting conservation and animal care.
Oregon Museum of Science & Insustry
Located on the waterfront, OMSI features super cool rotating exhibits, hands-on activities, a planetarium, theater, and a tourable Navy submarine. It’s so fun for all ages.
